Name:
Kale Hunter

Age:
30

Gender:
Male

Faction:
The Vainqueur

Job:
General ; Infantry ...if it's alright..I worked it into his history, how it was possible for him to get there and everything..but I can change it..

Appearance:
Kale is your regular every day, nobody. He doesn't dress to impress, and he certainly doesn't want to make himself stand out. He's more of a shadow kind of a guy, milling in the background. Which is why he chooses the dark shade of black to dress himself in. He doesn't really stand in the background though, but he wants everyone to believe that. His black wardrobe has some variety of colors in it, including brown, navy, and hunter green. There is nothing bright about him when it comes to what he wears because he wants to blend into the surroundings around him. He'll wear civilian clothes when he's out in town though, for he doesn't want to stand out much there. Basically he clothes himself in long sleeves, cargo pants or another type of long pant, and his black boots. He owns a pair of black sneakers for his town purposes, but doesn't prefer to wear them.

His face is usually emotionless, his eyes protraying nothing if he was speaking with someone of importance. But usually, his eyes are like windows to his soul. He has learned to keep the feeling out of them when he absolutely has to, but it's difficult, and he's better off just leaving it alone. His skin is tanned with years of being out in the sun as a farmer's child, but that ended soon enough. He remained outdoors though, and his sunburn always faded into a darker tan, making his skin rough and dark. His eyes are deep hazel flecked with shades of green and blue within them. He has a long scar traveling over his right eye and down to the left side of his face from a fight he had long ago, hand to hand combat. The man he was facing was killed, though not before he left Kale with the lasting mark. He hides it the best he can by wearing a black hat when he's dealing with the enemy, or people he doens't want seeing the mark to recognize him. It wouldn't be very easy for him to travel through public. He has hard features, his jaw always set in determination, and his nose small and pointed. Kale has extremely curly black hair, and sometimes his face holds a bit of beard when he doesn't get to shave.

Personality:
He's a bit of a rugged, solitary man. One of a few words, but they always leave their mark. He times his sentences just right, and they get the point across. He never believed in dancing in circles when a solid point could be made with one short phrase. It's a principle he lives by. Make it short and to the point, while still explaining what's going on. It's an art that he has mastered and uses well. When he speaks, people will listen. But sometimes they won't always like what comes out from his mouth. He doesn't always choose the path that has been well tread, and he likes to do his own thing. His ideas are a bit wild, but so far they have seemed to work quite well for him. He hasn't lost his life, and he's saved the lives of the others around him to the best of his ability. He can have a temper though, and it's best to watch out when he does get one. It's probably one of the worst things about him. He can't stand it, but he can't control it. When he gets angry, he'll sometimes just stare and glare at the person, or he'll start shouting, and once has even thrown things. He can be a bit difficult when his mind is made up, and not a lot of people can change it. The thing about him is he's stubborn, head strong, defiant and way too proud for his own good. But you gotta love him.

He has a soft side that not many people are aware of. If someone's in danger, and they are not part of Ajax or the government, he will do everything in his power to help them and make sure they are alright. And he'll check up on them on later dates just to make sure everything is still alright in their lives. He might put on the hard shell, but if someone gets in, he's easy to talk to and not intimidating in the least. Basically his bad side is just a show, however convincing it might be. He's good at what he does, and that's fighting. He's a quick learner, and it doesn't take much for him to pick up something new. He's a listener and a watcher, and many go to him just to talk because he does listen. He might not always respond, but he does hear. It just depends on whether or not he believes the person needs a response, or it's just rhetorical. He's an intelligent man, and he can go over things in his mind a couple of times and know them like the back of his hand. He knows how to move the men, and he knows what he's doing. He can outsmart a lot of people, and he knows it. But that knowledge gets him into trouble a lot with a big mouth and a big head. He's too prideful for his own good, and he hates admitting that he's wrong. It almost pains him to let the other person know that they were right and he's sorry. He's brave though, and has no problem fighting alongside of his men. He doesn't stand in the background.

Possessions:
He carries on him during missions his faithful M16A1 and leaves it in a safe place when he doesn't need it. But it's always close by. He always carries his 0.45 pistol, and always has extra rounds for it. On his belt is his swtchblade, and he carries one in his boot as well, and another pistol attached to his leg. He is always paranoid of running out of ammo and losing a gun, so he makes sure he has plenty at hand. Around his neck is a necklace his mother gave him. It's a simple black crescent moon, and she was unable to tell him the meaning of it before she was lost to him forever.

History:
Kale was born into a home that was filled with shouts and violence from day one. He grew into a two year old without any mishaps, but it was like his father had turned into a different person at that point in time. His father's name was Ryan Hunter, and he seemed to hold a grudge against the entire world population, his wife and son being his two main targets. He worked as a farmer upon his land, but he brought in plenty of money to support his family and another as well. He was very picky with his money, and he never spent it on what he didn't need. But he did buy them a bigger home and nicer things. He always believed that he was in charge and they had to do whatever he said. So when his wife, Elizabeth, wanted to get a job as well, he put his foot down. That was when the abuse started. When she insisted, he slapped her across the face and told her that a woman's place was at home, taking care of their son and cleaning, as well as preparing meals. Kale had no idea what was going on because of his youth, but as he grew, he understood. He understood because he was becoming a victim to it as well, and he wanted more than anything to get him and his mother out of the house and away from this man.

His mother began growing listless and uncaring. When her husband came home, she obeyed his every whim and need, and therefore escaped her beatings. Kale was not as compliant. He fought with his father's views and orders tooth and nail, and therefore began being able to physically fight. He was twelve by this time, and unable to really defend himself against the larger man, but he was trying. And his father realized that. So everyday the beatings got worse and worse, and he abused him until the child could barely move. He sent Kale out to work in the fields during the day like he was a common slave, and when he returned, tired and drained, that's when it all started. By that time, he didn't have much energy left to put up a fight, so everything was handled nicely. But Kale was getting smarter, and he was getting stronger. He began working with the others in the field, and that was building him up and getting him used to that laugh. He grew older, and more capable of handling the long hours. But that time, he would come home, and his father would have a harder time hurting him. He turned to Kale's mother. After Kale's mother was beaten on one night, Kale had had enough. His knife was in his back pocket, and he was ready to get rid of the man that had made his life a living h.ell. He was fifteen, and ready to defend himself and his mother.

The fight began like any other. Kale's father sent a punch straight to Kale's face, and the young man took it like he should. But as another hit came, he was ready. His hand caught the fist, and he brought out the knife. THe look on his father's face was one of fear, but he knew how to defend himself. He took out his own knife, and he knew that Kale hadn't been expecting that. Then Elizabeth ruined it for her son. She cried out as she saw the two poised to kill one another, and Ryan took the shot. He gave Kale the scar upon his face. It was a mix of bad aim and surprise at his son's actions. Kale had had enough at this point. He caught his dad off guard, and the knife that he long ago discarded lay perched in his chest, taking the life slowly from his cold heart. And Kale didn't regret it. He felt free for the first time in ages. But his mother kicked him out because she still loved Ryan, even after everything he had done. Kale was disgusted, but packed his things i nthe tan backpack he still owns, and soon was just another criminal in the streets. No one was caught for the murder of Ryan Hunter, and Kale was able to start living his life now. But his years of abuse and torment had turned him into a timid soul, and try as he might, he was struggling to live on the streets. He was determined to make it though, and found an alley to shelter him for a while. He began training himself into a fighter, and came across a gun and a knife. It was for protection, and he had no problem carrying them.

He watched the streets around him grow more and more populated because of the heavy taxes and the other harsh treatments by the government officials. It was when he saw a mother with a young boy and an even younger girl crying for the loss of food did he grow spiteful and hatred towards the people that were supposed to be helping them. He stole food for the small family, and she thanked him. He knew he wanted to start helping people after that day, and he knew he wasn't going to follow the government anymore. He became aware of the Vainqueur, and knew he wanted to join it. He joined as the lowest ranking possible at the age of seventeen. They found that he was a bit on the frightened side whenever a hand was raised to fight or to praise him for his work. But he grew out of that stage as he began training harder and getting used to the people around him. They weren't going to hurt him, they were here to help him train. He became one of their faster learners, and he proved himself each and every day, slowing moving his way up in the ranks. He was a skilled fighter, and a patient teacher to those below him. There was nothing that he wouldn't do, including scrubbing the floor to some of the barracks with the lower ranking officers. He would do any job asked of him, and his dedication and his spirit became obvious amongst the officials. They promoted him until the next general came, and he took the spot at age thirty. He had worked long and hard to acquire that position, and he was readyto do what it took to help his men. He was ready to fight for what was right, and fight for what he believed in. He isn't like most of the others, for he's more patient and he's more willing to help. He won't going on any random killing sprees just because he feels like it. There's a purpose beyond each attack, and he won't hurt the civilians like his men do. He's different, and it sets him apart.
